Tobacco Addiction and Addiction Fighting Training was Provided by Faculty Members

"Tobacco Addiction and Combating Addiction" was organized by our University Personnel Department for academic and administrative staff on 14 and 21 August 2026. An in-service training program on the subject was organized.

Prof. Dr. In the trainings held in Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, our faculty members Dr. Ögr. Member Atalay Aktuna, Dr. Ögr. Member İlkay Başak and Dr. Ögr. Member Gamze Demiray shared information about tobacco addiction, the harms of smoking on health, neurobiological and clinical dimensions of addiction, and methods that can be applied in the process of quitting smoking.

The trainings, which were carried out with the contributions of our faculty members, aimed to prevent tobacco use and raise awareness in the fight against addiction.
