March 14th Medical Day and White Coat Ceremony Held

The "March 14th Medical Day and White Coat Ceremony" was held in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall by our Faculty of Medicine.

The ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ayşe Güldem Kilciler, the Chief Physician of Bandırma Training and Research Hospital Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Nart Görgü, our academic and administrative staff, our students and their esteemed families.

The program began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem. The opening speech was given by our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Güldem Kilciler. Following this, our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz delivered a speech on the significance of the day, highlighting the societal importance of the medical profession. In the speeches, best wishes were extended to the Faculty of Medicine students taking their first steps into the profession.

Following the opening speeches, a promotional video of our Faculty of Medicine was shown to the participants. The program continued with the White Coat Ceremony, where our first-year medical students received their white coats from our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ayşe Güldem Kilciler, and the Chief Physician of Bandırma Training and Research Hospital, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Nart Görgü, among other faculty members.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
