BANU 2nd Medical Student Symposium Begins

The 2nd BANU Medical Student Symposium, hosted by Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 09:00 in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall (Central Lecture Hall Building) with the theme "Artificial Intelligence in Medicine: Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Ethical Dimensions".

The symposium will comprehensively address the multifaceted applications of artificial intelligence in medical education and healthcare services. Current topics ranging from preventive medicine and diagnostic processes to treatment approaches and ethical and legal dimensions will be evaluated with the contributions of students and academics. The possibilities, opportunities, and future impacts of artificial intelligence in the healthcare field will be discussed within a scientific framework.

Aimed at encouraging student-focused scientific sharing, the symposium will provide an important meeting place for academics, students, and all participants interested in the healthcare field.
