New International Collaboration under the Erasmus+ Programme

New International Collaboration for Our Faculty Under Erasmus+
An inter-institutional agreement has been signed under the Erasmus+ Program between the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Uniwersytet Kaliski im. Prezydenta Stanisława Wojciechowskiego in Poland.

This agreement aims to strengthen international collaborations in medical education and encourage students and academic staff to gain experience on a global scale.

Education and Student Mobility

A reciprocal student exchange program will be implemented for our medical students under this agreement. In this context:

A specific number of student exchanges will take place each academic year.

Our students will have the opportunity to receive clinical and theoretical training within a different healthcare system and educational model in Europe.

The language of instruction is English, and a minimum language proficiency level of B1 is required.

The program aims to enhance our students' clinical perspectives, expose them to diverse patient profiles, and foster their integration into international medical education.

Academic and Clinical Collaboration

The agreement is not limited to student mobility but also encompasses areas such as:

Academic staff teaching mobility

Sharing of clinical and scientific experience

Development of joint educational and research activities

This initiative will support the participation of our faculty members in international academic networks.

Strategic Importance for Our Faculty

This collaboration will make a significant contribution to our Faculty of Medicine’s vision of internationalization by:

Strengthening integration with European standards of medical education,

Enhancing our students' professional competencies,

Supporting academic productivity and scientific collaborations. As the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, we will continue to expand international academic collaborations and offer high-quality educational opportunities to our students.
