Awareness and Early Diagnosis Effectiveness in Breast Cancer

Our Faculty will host an event titled “Notice It, Catch It Early: Stay One Step Ahead of Breast Cancer” to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the importance of early diagnosis.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall. Topics to be covered include risk assessment and self-examination at the primary care level, the importance of mammography and ultrasound for early diagnosis, risk factors, hormonal balance, and preventive approaches.

Presentations will be delivered by our faculty members: Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Onmaz, Asst. Prof. Dr. Özge Tanışman, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Büşra Güleç.
